Welcome to our gallery of photos!

|
As the Gallery grows you will be able to enjoy photos of categories such as foundation JRTs, photos from shows, some of the dogs we have bred and a myriad of other topics.
Below we hope you enjoy photos of some of the Australian Jack Russell Terriers that are in the pedigrees of our terriers or that were bred by esteemed Australian JRT breeders and a photo or two of the breeders themselves. Many thanks to Rita Francis-Little and Lindy Donato for sharing their photographs with us. Lindy deserves a special round of applause for her tireless scanning of photos and emailing them to me. It is also Lindy's expertise with a camera that is responsible for the wonderful photos of Merrilong Kalvaro, Merrilong Siroco and Rita Francis-Little's superb girls. Many thanks to the owners of many of these Jack Russells for sending us their photos and allowing us to showcase their beautiful terriers.

The girls above were bred by Rita Francis-Little and are, on the far left Carisbrooke Goldie (owned by Lindy Donato), Carisbrooke Mary-Anne (backround) and far right, Carisbrooke Drum Song, both owned by Rita Francis-Little.
Mrs. Francis-Little is an icon in the breed and her contribution to the JRT in knowledge, judging, her outstanding illustrated breed standard (which you will find on this website shortly), her breeding program and her willingness to mentor others is unparalleled to this day. Rita continues to breed a very few, very select litters.

|
The renowned, winning Aust CH Carisbrooke Marie Claire, bred, owned and shown by Rita Francis-Little. The top winning bitch in Australia, Carisbrooke French Kiss, was also bred by Rita.
|
Carisbrooke Mary-Anne, bred and owned by Mrs. Rita Francis-Little. Mary-Anne is a daughter of the beautiful Aust CH Carisbrooke Marie Claire and goes back to Rita's Aust CH Malung Orinoco twice in her pedigree and also Aust CH Pineview Drum Na Drochit.
Mary-Anne has the classic Carisbrooke head and outstanding structure for which Rita's Carisbrooke Jack Russell Terriers are so well known.
|
The great Aust CH Malung Orinoco on the right. Orinoco was one of the Fabulous Four sired by Dubbsville Bud and out of the bitch Malung Morag.
The other litter mates to Orinoco were Malung Jim Beam, Malung Laird of Joyreve and the female of the litter Malung Niniane Swynford. These famous four made a tremendous impact the Australian JRT breeding programs throughout the country.

This is a photo of the immortal and extremely influential Aust CH Malung Orinoco, bred by Mrs. Erica Wilkens of the Malung Kennels in Victoria, Australia and owned, loved and shown by Mrs. Rita Francis-Little of Carisbrooke Kennels in NSW.
Orinoco was, as Mrs. Francis-Little has expressed so many times, a once in a lifetime dog and perhaps unparalleled in his substance, balance and breed type. Even with his tremendous bone and magnificient head Orinoco was easily spannable. His influence on the Carisbrooke terriers is quite apparent. We are honored to have Orinoco's blood in some of our own Jack Russell Terriers. One cannot have too much of greatness. Many thanks to Rita Francis-Little for sharing these wonderful photos with us and allowing us to showcase Orinoco.

The gorgeous boy in the above photo is Aust CH Carisbrooke Earl of Essex, aka Teddy. Teddy is owned and loved by Elizabeth Sykes in Borenore, NSW. Elizabeth breeds top quality Jack Russell Terriers under the prefix Wildenfox.
Teddy's pedigree contains the great Aust CH Malung Orinoco twice in three generations along with many other outstanding show dogs and top producing Australian Jack Russells. We look forward to seeing Teddy's offspring and grandkids in the American gene pool and show ring.
|
Pictured above is Joy Revie, owner of Joyreve Jack Russell Terriers, another of Australia's icons in the breed. No doubt Mrs. Revie's terriers and breeding program have had a tremendous impact on the Australian JRT with quality after quality terrier.
Mrs. Revie had a hip replacement just prior to Christmas 2006. We wish her all the best and a complete and speedy recovery.

Many thanks to Rita Francis-Little for sharing this photo of Aust CH Vanderbilt Miss Daisy with us. This outstanding bitch was the dam of Michaelmas Call Me Madam, who can be found in the pedigree of our Jacklands Diarmuid.

The gorgeous male in the photo above is Aust & NZ CH Pineview Drum Na Drochit
.
|
Aust & NZ CH Pineview Drum Na Drochit. Even as a youngster he exhibits the outstanding quality that firmly established him as one of the true greats in the breed.
|
Aust & NZ CH Pineview Drum Na Drochit again as a pup showing the world what having real promise in a breed is all about!

Aust & NZ CH Pineview Drum Na Drochit
|
The photo above is of Aust & NZ CH Pineview Drum Na Drochit. Drum Na Drochit was a son of Tarsia Monocle of Bohunt, who was imported from the JRTCGB kennel of Ann Brewer.
The impact that the English working terrier blood had on the breed in Australia can not be denied in the small chests, arrow straight legs, longer and laid back upper arms, longer shoulders and on their toes attitude.

The beautiful terrier in the middle of this group is Aust CH Swampwood Mick Maddigan. Mick Maddigan was bred, owned and shown by Trish Brown. To the left of Mick Maddigan is his sister Aust CH Swampwood Molly Malone. On the far right is Aust CH Swampwood Drum Major, another brother resulting from the same cross. Mick Maddigan is the sire of our beloved Jacklands Diarmuid.
|
Aust CH Swampwood Mick Maddigan -- it is easy to see why this superb male has done so well in the show ring.

This magnificient tri color male above is Aust CH Toucansto Panda Bear, bred, owned and shown by Mr. Laurie Burt who lives near Sydney. As you can see by comparing our Crisbrooke Crossfire with his sire, Panda Bear is extremely prepotent for his beautiful, typey head, arrow straight legs, proper front, his fabulous show ring attitude, his weatherproof rough coat and his glorious deep tri color.
