is one of a litter out of a bitch that I purchased name Malung/JR Magali. Maggie was bred in Australia and whelped there on the advice of Lindy Donato. Caruso is one of five pups that was supposed to be shipped to the US. His litter sister will come to us after she has whelped one litter for Lindy which should be in 2010.
If only one word could used to describe Caruso it would be goofy. He is always playing. He gets along with all other dogs both male and female, and is a sweet, loving dog. Yet Caruso has everything anyone could possibly want in a show dog. At 11.5 inches he has outstanding bone, a magnificient head, arrow straight legs, wonderful structure and movement and that show ring attitude so necessary in a winning dog.
Caruso surprised us his first time in the show ring. He showed like a seasoned veteran that was born to it and finished his championship in one weekend. His second weekend out Caruso won the champion class five times in a row, going BOB 4 our of the 5 shows, with three Group First, one Group Second and a Best In Show all at 14 months of age. At the next cluster in December, Caruso went BOB in a large entry, Group 1 and BIS under AKC and UKC judge Mrs. Ann Hearn. Caruso's first show in 2010, he proved he hadn't lost anything over the winter by once again going BOB, Group 1 and RBIMBS under long time terrier breeder and judge Mrs. Terry Murphy. This young dog is proving weekend after weekend that he has what it takes to makes a truly great show dog under a variety of judges.
Caruso's first two litters are on the ground and are the most consistent in type and quality we've seen. We kept 3 bitch pups which we co-own and will be shown in the early spring. It looks like this boy is going to be as sterling a producer as he is a show dog.
Caruso is BAER normal, CERF normal, PLL normal, cardiac normal and with normal patellas. His sire and dam are also CERF clear. He stands at stud to approved AKC and UKC registered bitches with a current clear CERF, normal BAER test, orthopedic clearances and a negative brucellosis.
